Sara M. Markouc
About Sara
Sara Markouc brings more than fifteen years of professional legal experience to the fields of labor and employment law. She represents both private and public sector clients in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including the defense of discrimination, harassment, and wrongful discharge allegations. Sara has successfully represented clients before the State Employment Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, and the National Labor Relations Board. She has also overseen mediation, arbitration, and litigation of employment-related matters for her clients, including claims involving the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and Family and Medical Leave Act.
She regularly counsels both public- and private-sector employers on general employment matters and provides training on a variety of topics. Sara additionally negotiates collective bargaining agreements for employers in unionized settings.
In her free time, Sara enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with her husband and children.
